These baby crib blankets are handwoven from 100% cotton. They are light weight and very soft. Large enough to be used in the crib and cuddly enough to be drug around the house by its proud owner. I started with a white warp and added color with the weft yarns. The pattern reminds me of little x's and o's, making it a great way to surround your baby with 'hugs and kisses' all the time.

weave structure these are woven in is called that because one side
of the fabric is usually lighter and the reverse side is
darker. Each blanket is hemmed in the opposite direction on either
end so you can pick which side you would like to have as the "right"
side.
You can use one of these as a lightweight blanket. They are large enough to shade your baby from the hot sun and can be laid on the floor for playtime. Your young one will not quickly out grow this blanket. It is long enough to cover up a child at nap time for years to come. Don't forget they are machine washable and can go into the dryer as well for easy care.
The first time I wove these I gave one to my ex-husband and his new wife for their first child. My daughter's baby brother had to have a handwoven blanket from me. That was about four years ago. Now I am told it is Teddy's favorite blanket. He takes it everywhere and it has been the cause of a few squabbles with his younger brother. Poor RJ, Teddy always wins those battles because the blanket is his.
